Huset Raa – Fana

You come for the coffee and the buns, but you stay because the chair is so beautiful you consider buying it to take home. And you actually can. Huset Raa in Fana is a concept store where a café, interiors, clothing and a yoga studio all live under the same roof. Interior architect Rikke Traae has transformed an old building opposite Fana stadium into a place where rustic brick meets thoughtful Scandinavian design.

The food is simple and honest. Freshly baked buns, handmade bread and light meals prepared with local and organic ingredients from nearby producers. The service is warm and unpretentious. In summer you sit outside while the kids play freely, and in June they host their own festival. Open Tuesday to Friday, often Sundays too. Free parking right outside.
