Fivelandsneset fjordhytter – Åkrafjorden

You hear the fjord before you see it. The trail from the car park drops steeply through forest, and after a few minutes the landscape opens up: Åkrafjorden right in front of you, and two compact micro cabins – Fjord and Fjell – perched on the headland with panoramic windows facing the water.

The cabins are family-run and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, with a fully equipped kitchen, a made-up bed, and an outdoor area with a fire pit. Down by the jetty you can swim straight in the fjord while seabirds circle above. The cabins take a maximum of two per cabin, so book well in advance – and bring your own food. This is a place where you fall asleep to the sound of lapping waves and wake up to mountain views.
